So since I can’t pitch this to you in person and explain it I’ll give you a short little write up. Alright. Here you go:

After checking out everything you sent me I noticed a lot of grungy, metal, typographic, (and like you said) subversive influence. I tried to create something reminiscent of the community in “join the collective” mixed with artwork from a lead single of Striker’s next album. The letters are all drawn incredibly tight together like a well thought out idea. No need for second guessing. No room for error. But still a seamless fit. Almost like it came together with ease. Though “Maker” may be a little difficult to read (I don’t think it’s bad at all) the strength of the letters as one unit is far more important to me than immediate legibility. If you can make something eye catching and interesting that people want to figure out, that a few more seconds they’ll spend on your site or on your company. The logo was also built to work as a stencil too. Just an idea for down the road.
